Account Deletion
You can delete your NearMe account and the associated server data tied to that profile.
How to delete your account
- Open the NearMe app.
- Go to Menu or Profile.
- Tap Delete profile if that option is available on your device.
- Or send a deletion request to support@people-near.me from the email address linked to your account.
What is deleted
- Your account profile and login identity tied to that account.
- Stored emergency contacts for that account.
- Private room and service data tied to that account, where applicable.
- Server-side incident and support data tied to that profile, unless retention is required by law or for abuse prevention.
What may be retained temporarily
- Security and abuse-prevention logs.
- Records required for legal compliance or billing reconciliation.
- Technical logs that do not identify you directly may be retained for a limited period.
Support
If you cannot access the account, contact support@people-near.me and include any identifying details that help us verify ownership of the account.
